I'll overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
